Synergy Recycling guarantees your data security against all forms of data compromise. Most drives that arrive at Synergy are shredded on site to physically destroy the data and to create commodity grade materials as feedstock to replace virgin , raw materials. Some clients ask us to wipe data to enhance value of the drive. Synergy utilizes data sanitizing software that over writes all data on the drive. We adhere to the practices described in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Guidelines for Media Sanitation: Special Publication 800-88. Our data destruction processes are reviewed and validated by an independent party to guarantee compliance. Wiped drives are randomly checked daily in-house to guarantee no data remains.
